The Sunday Hu$tle welcomes Matt Hirahara as the newest owner in the league, filling the seat left open by Jorge Salcedo after 23 seasons.
Matt's franchise: the Substation Survivors — a nod to the electrical substation sitting next to the 49ers' practice facility in Santa Clara, and to the injury-riddled seasons that have followed. Matt's a lifelong Niners fan, so consider it a coping mechanism with a logo.
He enters 2026 with a Rookie badge, a clean record, and no excuses.
