One shared history of beating the absolute hell out of each other in the standings. This week we tip the cap to Jazzy Jake Corbin of The Schmohawks (47 years young as of August 6) and Vince Diaz of RAW DOGS (44 as of today, August 14). Grab a candle, light it, and let's get into it.
Jake Corbin — The Schmohawks — Turns 47
Jake didn't just have a birthday this month, he's still riding the high of the single greatest redemption arc in league history. Rewind the tape:

Dead last. Lowest points-for in the league. A franchise with back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2023 face-planting into the basement like it owed the basement money.
2025 · 10-4
Third career championship (2021, 2023, 2025). Worst to first in a calendar year. Say what you want about Jazzy Jake's fantasy IQ — the man refuses to stay down.
That's the Jake Corbin special: disappear for a year, resurface with a trophy. At this point the league should stop being surprised and start being scared.
Career trophy case: 3 championships (2021, 2023, 2025). Zero rings from 2009–2020 while grinding through Schmohawks, Team Tom BrAIDSy, Buffalo Jakes, Old Speckled Hens, and the infamous "Mallon's Revenge" era. The man paid his dues before he started collecting.
Vince Diaz — RAW DOGS — Turns 44
Happy birthday to the owner with arguably the most volatile stat line in Hu$tle history. Vince Diaz doesn't do "consistent." Vince does feast or famine, and 2025 was a whole banquet:

The only blemish on an otherwise statement year? A Week 9 beatdown at the hands of the birthday boy up above — Jake's Schmohawks put a 144.30–86.65 whooping on RAW DOGS that Vince has surely already blocked from memory. Everything else in 2025 went right for Vince except that one Sunday.
Twenty-three seasons in this league (since 2003, an original), and Vince Diaz has never met a team name he didn't want to change. TeamDiaz, NaturalBornHitters, HeadHunterz, Special-Ops, Jerry Rigg'n Wins, Kick ur Teeth In — the man has cycled through more identities than a witness protection program before finally settling on RAW DOGS in 2017, where he's stayed put ever since. Consistency, at last — just not in the standings.
The Birthday Head-to-Head
Here's the fun part: these two shared the top of the 2025 standings — Jake's Schmohawks at 10-4 taking the title, Vince's RAW DOGS at 10-4 right behind him in second. Same record. Same season. One trophy between them. Somewhere in there is the making of a genuine Hu$tle rivalry, and it just so happens their birthdays land eight days apart in the same month.
So here's to Jake and Vince — one riding a three-peat-adjacent legacy, one finally putting together the season everyone knew he had in him. Bring on 47 and 44. The league isn't ready for either of you to slow down.
